End of Festival Fireworks is an annual Edinburgh tradition. The Scottish Chamber Orchestra plays in the Ross bandstand in Princes Street Castle and they shoot loads of fireworks off of Edinburgh castle. While Princes Street and surrounds get packed with people, the best place to watch them is from a cosy window at home, if you can.
We had quite a La Boheme experience this year, standing ankle-deep in sawdust in a freezing building site of an attic. We took down one of the boards from the window and this is what we could see over the dark rooftops of the city.
The local radio station always broadcasts the music that accompanies the display. It's funny to hear the sound-lag over the radio.
Doesn't completely make up for missing the 4th July every year, but it's something!

That's so totally amazing!!
